The last teams have made it to the Frankfurt Dota Major Regional Qualifiers, scheduled to start this weekend. No Logic Gaming, Spac_Creators, ROOT Gaming and 4fats have secured their places in the Regional Qualifiers for a chance to compete among their invited peers.
The Frankfurt Major will be held between November 16-21, featuring a $3,000,000 fixed amount prize-pool.
According to Valve, the Frankfurt Dota Major will feature eight directly invited teams and eight teams coming from the Regional Qualifiers.
A total of 40 teams will be competing in the Regional Qualifiers.
Yesterday, three teams earned the chance to compete in the Frankfurt Dota Major Regional Qualifiers with the hopes to continue to advance to the main event, set to take place between November 16-21, in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Spac_Creators have bested First Departure, 2:1, in the Grand Finals of the SEA Frankfurt Dota Major Open Qualifiers #2 and will join as the 10th and final team to compete in the Regional Qualifiers scheduled to start today, October 10th, at 04:00 CEST AM. The team will join Group B alongside GIGABYTE.MINESKI, MVP.PHOENIX, REX REGUM QEON, and SIGNATURE.TRUST.
- No Logic Gaming have overpowered Arcade.PowerRangers, 2:1, and have qualified for the Frankfurt Dota Major Regional Qualifiers scheduled to start today, at 12:00 CEST. The team will join Group B and compete alongside (MONKEY) BUSINESS, NINJAS IN PYJAMAS, NATUS VINCERE, and CIS REJECTS
- ROOT Gaming swept through BoM, 2:0, and 4fats eliminated Dilecom, 2:0, in the semifinals of the Americas Frankfurt Dota Majors Open Qualifiers #2. Two spaces were allocated for winners in this qualifier, so both ROOT and 4fats have qualified for the Frankfurt Dota Major Regional Qualifiers scheduled to start later today, at 19:00 CEST. Both teams are scheduled to compete in Group B along with Boreal, Digital Chaos and Team Leviathan/Imagine.
No Logic Gaming
No Logic Gaming was originally formed during the post-TI5 shuffle by Giorgos “SsaSpartan” Giannakopoulos, formerly of London Conspiracy. The team registered for the Major, but has had several roster changes since then. The most recent roster change occurred right before the OpenQualifiers, when ex-Arcade.PowerRangers Dmitriy “Ditya Ra” Minenkov and Steve “Excalibur” Ye were added to the lineup.

At the end of August, the new ROOT Gaming lineup was revealed to include European player Niklas “Wagamama” Högström among the other NA players in the squad. Since then, the team has undergone a recent roster change and has participated in limited tournaments and qualifiers in their short time together as a squad.

Spac_Creators is an Australian team which features Darcy “Godot” Jose, Justin “xMusiCa” Yuen and Yao “Tudi” Wen Teo, formerly of Can’t Say Wips. The team was founded during the post-TI5 reshuffle in August and immediately grabbed first place in the Corsair Gaming Arena #6.
CSW placed third in their group phase for the TI5 SEA qualifiers. One day later, on May 30, Godot announced via his Facebook page that he was parting ways with the team. They were then reformed mid June with a new roster, but again disbanded not long after.

Frankfurt Dota Major Regional Qualifiers
40 teams will participate in the Regional Qualifiers – 31 invited ones and 9 Open Qualifiers winners:
Each of the four regional qualifiers (Americas, China, Europe, Southeast Asia) will feature the invited teams. In addition, Open Qualifiers will be held for all regions. The winners from the four Open Qualifiers will earn the 9th and 10th spot of each of the four Regional Qualifiers.
Each region consists of two round robin groups of five teams. The top two teams from each group will advance to a double elimination bracket.
The winner and runner-up of each region will be invited to the Frankfurt Dota Major.
