The DotaPit LAN bids farewell to compLexity Gaming eliminated by MVP.Phoenix The NA team was the fifth to be eliminated from the event, following Virtus.Pro, OG, Team Secret and Team Empire. MVP.Phoenix is the first team to advance to the grand finals. One team will be crowned the champions of the first DotaPit LAN at the end of the day. The DotaPit LAN semifinals will continue today with Na’Vi vs. Evil Genisues at 13:30 CET.

The second day of the DotaPit LAN finals saw compLexity Gaming eliminated by the Korean team MVP.Phoenix. The 2:0 clean sweep by MVP.Phoenix brought an end to one of the two spectacular rising storylines that started at Shanghai Major.
Both teams had once again displayed extraordinary performances and sealed their reputations of first class competitors during the DotaPit LAN finals. With exceptional skill, coordination and synergy both teams will continue to be a force to be reckoned with through the upcoming season. Unfortunately, only one team was able to advance further and continue to rise in an attempt to reach the pinnacle status.
The first day of DotaPit LAN finals ended in the early hours of the morning today, witnessing Team Empire eliminated by Evil Geniuses. Yesterday, Virtus.Pro’s suffered from an early departure when they were wiped through by compLexity Gaming and OG were bested by MVP.Phoenix 1:2. In a completely shocking turn of events, Shanghai Champions – Team Secret were eliminated by Na’Vi.

MVP.Phoenix vs compLexity Gaming
The first game started with both teams getting their comfort picks. MVP.Phoenix was able to secure the Nature’s Prophet, a hero they had much success with in the Shanghai Majors and compLexity secured first blood. The game was relatively even, back and forth action and kills with compLexity having a slight lead for most of the time. About 30 minutes into it, MVP.Phoenix were able to start taking control and between Furion and being able to dismantle the Io-Tiny combo, they took the first game with ease.
The second game again saw a slightly favored start for compLexity Gaming. However, this time, by minute 15, the Korean team was able to take the lead and quickly ran away with it to the end. They were able to finish the the series in only 26 minutes with a score of 29:12. Pyo “MP” No-a had an incredible game on Invoker along with Kim “QO” Seon-yeop on Spectre.
DotaPit LAN results: MVP.Phoenix 2:0 compLexity Gaming. MVP.Phoenix will continue to the grand finals for a best-of-five elimination series, leaving compLexity Gaming eliminated.
DotaPit LAN Finals main event
The LAN finals will be held at the Spaladium Arena in Split, Croatia. The venue boasts a 10,000 seating capacity and was built in 2008.
