OG bounced back aggressively, shattering MVP.Phoenix’s hopes and run in StarLadder Dota 2 Invitational LAN with a 2:0 victory. MVP.Phoenix has been eliminated and OG will move forward in the Lower Brackets. Vega was eliminated earlier and no more teams will be eliminated today. The StarLadder Invitational continues with the upper bracket semi finals featuring LGD vs Alliance at 16:00 CEST, followed by another upper bracket semi finals.

The series between two of Dota’s most beloved teams as of late – OG and MVP.Phoenix.
OG rebounded with pizazz and confidence in the lower bracket elimination series. Not being strangers to persevering and rising up through the lower brackets, they channeled all of their energy and focus into once again creating climatic story-line. OG had started in the lower brackets during the Frankfurt Major before ascending into the grand finals and seizing the championship title.
MVP.Phoenix had come into the event as one of the favorites after claiming the Dota Pit Season 4 LAN championship title and capturing the hearts of fans three times in the last year. The Koreans were unable to find their niche and place in Kiev -ending their run at the event without a single win.
The first series of the day witnessed Virtus.Pro eliminate Vega Squadron 2:1 in a CIS showdown for StarLadder Dota Invitational LAN.
StarLadder Dota 2 Invitational LAN: Lower Bracket elimination series
OG started out the first game of the series one step ahead of MVP.Phoenix. Their teamwork, execution and rotations were on point starting out immediately from the laning phase. Amer “Miracle-“ al-Barqawi’s WindRanger was quite impressive with a perfect shackle shot at a crucial time. David “MoonMeander” Tan also had extraordinary game on Batrider.
Feel the Burn: @MoonMeanderated's ULTRA KILL on Batrider is the 5th on record for the hero and earliest in a pro gmhttps://t.co/zKGWUBK4k6

OG approached the second game with the same focus and energy they displayed in the first game. Once again the match was in favor of OG from the beginning with wonderfully played actions and team fights. They had a very solid objective based draft and were able to execute it well. MVP.Phoenix seemed to not have their comfort picks and their draft was not set up well to be able to contest objectives and take the lead.
StarLadder Dota 2 Invitational LAN results: MVP.Phoenix 0:2 OG. OG will continue to advance through the lower brackets, while MVP.Phoenix has been eliminated.
