First LAN with @adfinemgg In Ukraine-Kiev for The @WePlayDota2 29/1.GG

WePlay have confirmed that Ad Finem will be attending the LAN playoffs in Kiev, Ukraine, between April 29th and May 1st.
The Greek squad will be joining other seven teams: Na’Vi, EG, MVP.Phoenix, Team Liquid, Team Spirit, EWolves and Vega Squadron.
According to WePlay, Fnatic had to withdraw from participation and the spot was given to the runner up of the SEA qualifiers – Mineski. Due to the short notice, Mineski were unable to complete the necessary paperwork and also had to withdraw.
Organizers then turned to the runner up team in the European West region – Ad Finem.
The Greek squad had a stellar run during the season and was narrowly edged out of the qualifying spot by Team Liquid, falling short of a tie for first place by one game. Their only loss during the event was at the hands of Team Liquid.
The guys, me and the CEO are really excited to be there. It was so close for us to qualify ‘by ourselves’, but unfortunately we lost that match versus Liquid. I believe we had a respectable run, nonetheless. Of course, everyone only thinks about winning the WePlay tour and we try our best practicing, theory crafting, watching replays. No one goes to a tournament with the mindset ‘I’m gonna go place second or something like that’. This is also the first time an all-Greek team goes to a Major LAN.
– Mike “Madao” Chatzialexiou, Ad Finem manager
Ad Finem have been an imposing force since their inception when Giorgos “SsaSpartan” Giannakopoulos had once again formed an all-Greek squad on December 4th, in time for the Shanghai Major roster lock.
Ad Finem means “to the end” and the team has always had their sights set on their end goal.
On January 31st, the team seized their first championship title under the Ad Finem banner, in the ProDota Cup Season 2.
Taking several second and third place finishes, the Greeks have been a formidable opponent to all teams that have crossed their path.
The team has just concluded their run at DreamLeague Season 3 and are currently participating in the ESL One Frankfurt Qualifiers and WellPlay. The WePlay LAN will be their first LAN appearance as a team.
