Na’Vi have come out on top in the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 European qualifiers, after shutting out Virtus.Pro 3:0, in the Lower Bracket Finals. Na’Vi will join Alliance, OG, Team Liquid, Fnatic, compLexity Gaming, Vega Squadron and one more team from China yet to be determined to compete for a slice of the $250,000 prize pool. ESL One Frankfurt 2016 will take place between June 17-19, at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Germany.

Na’Vi have continued on their remarkable come-back course with spectacular plays and results during the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 European qualifiers. The Ukrainian team absolutely shellacked Virtus.Pro 3:0 in the Lower Bracket finals.
In a thrilling third game that lasted almost one hour, Natus Vincere once again staged a comeback for the records. The newly reignited squad has been leaving opponents behind in a smoke trail as they continue to blaze through incredible clutch endings and upsetting victories.

As one of the second tier teams invited to participate in the ESL One Frankfurt 2016 European qualifiers, Na’Vi started in the Upper Brackets Round 2. They wiped out Polarity 2:0 but were swept through by Virtus.Pro 0:2 in the Upper Bracket Semi Finals.
In the Lower Brackets Round 3 they dropped No Diggity 2:0 and then Team Spirit 2:1 before exacting revenge on Virtus.Pro.
ESL One Frankfurt 2016 closes out ESL’s $1,000,000 pledge to Dota 2 and brings the festivities back to Germany this June with eight of the best teams from around the world fighting for a $250,000 starting prize pool.
The event will unfold over the course of three days, between June 17-19. The closed group stages that will determine the seeding will be played on June 17th, followed by the main event scheduled to take place on June 18th and 19th at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Germany.
Eight teams – three directly invited (Alliance, OG, Team Liquid), two qualified from Europe, one qualified from China, one qualified from the Americas (compLexity Gaming) and one qualified from SEA (Fnatic) – will compete in a single elimination best-of-three bracket, with best-of-five Grand Finals. The format features a classic GSL style group stage ahead of the playoffs, that will determine the seeding.
The Americas, European and Southeast Asia regions have completed the online qualifiers so far. Details about the Chinese qualifiers are expected to be announced soon.
