The Chinese-Singaporean-Malaysian mix have not had much of a presence in the international scene despite being formed by Benedict Lim “hyhy” Han Yong of “Free to Play” fame. The team also features of veteran and well known player Lee “kYxY” Kong Yang.
White Fries grabbed the first TI6 SEA Regional Qualifiers spot. The team didn’t drop a single match in their journey to the TI6 SEA regional qualifiers. After surviving the brutal best-of-one rounds, they knocked out Extremist in the quarterfinals and Team SeeD in the semifinals. Hyhy & co. continued to execute their strategies and plans smoothly into the grand finals.
White Fries will go up against Fnatic, Rave, Mineski, Signature.Trust, Warriors Gaming.Unity, Execration, Orange.Taring, The Mongolz and one other team still to be determined in the TI6 SEA Regional Qualifiers. The qualifiers are scheduled to take place between June 25th-28th.
