The TI6 All Star Match between Team Kaci and Team SirActionSlacks wrapped up the fourth day of The International 6. As fans eagerly awaited a popular and entertaining tradition their patience was well rewarded. Being the only hero from DotA that had not found their way into the Dot 2 game play, the unexpected PitLord release caused an eruption from the crowd. The cherry on the top of the cake was the inaugural performance of the hero being given to Johan “N0tail” Sundstein.
UPDATE (August 13th):
TI6 final standings, updates and highlights – HERE
The TI6 All Star Match had created much stir as a contest between Team Kaci and Team SirActionSlacks – the beloved host duo covering the event with sass and spunk.
In this year’s iteration, all of the players were ushered out as selected audience members chose the 10 players to represent the teams.
MVP.Phoenix, EHOME, Alliance, EG, Na’Vi, Team Secret and LGD Gaming were called upon to participate as Team Kaci ( AdmiralBulldog, iceiceice, UniVeRsE, Fear, and QO) got ready to battle against Team Slacks (n0tail, Loda, Dendi, Arteezy, and Maybe).
The most notable absent players this year were Team Secret’s Clement “Puppey” Ivanov and Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao as well as 9k MMR famed Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi from OG.
The game got underway but was suddenly paused as SirActionSlacks exclaimed that Sandking was a terrible choice for NoTail and that he would fix it.
As the curiosity and anticipation mounted, PitLord’s release was made public with the hero’s full size Augmented Reality hologram suddenly appearing on stage. The crowd went wild and PitLord was reloaded into the game for NoTail to take game play control over.

Vrogros, the Underlord is the last remaining DotA hero that had not yet been migrated to Dota 2 play. The melee strength hero was originally named “Azgalor, the PitLord” in DotA. Fans had called for PitLord release for years, favoring his ultimate spell allowing up to the entire team to teleport together to various points on the map.
Underlord makes his Dota 2 debut in the All-Star Match. Arriving August 23, his Dark Rift brings with it a new Post-Game Stats UI.

The International 5 All Star Match
The TI5 All Star Match was a unique experience, filled with many surprises and much fanfare. It started with an audience chosen 10 vs. 10 setup of teams comprised of five stars and five fans. The biggest surprise, however was when the Pudge cosplayer chosen from the audience to play by Puppey’s side on Team ChuaN ended up being Danil “Dendi” Ishutin.
Team BigDaddy/N0tail (Suma1L, iceiceice, BurNIng, xiao8, Arteezy) made an epic comeback to defeat Team ChuaN (Mushi, Puppey, Fear, Ferrari_430, Hao)

(868 comments)The hero itself looks really weird, it’s like OD, Centaur and SK had a child. Will probably be imba when it’s released (as almost any hero is at release – WW, Arc Warden, Techies, Earth Spirit, Oracle). However, I like the concept, but he will probably be bad in <5k pubs since he needs a lot of coordination.
