The Manila Major EU Qualifiers results are in after a long and eventful day in the group stage segment of the competition.
No Diggity came out strong, with the best results in the region. They didn’t drop a single match in the four games played. Their presence was fierce and left opponents to question what else will be in store for them tomorrow. Ad Finem and Vega both looked sharp as well but had only two matches each so far.
Team Empire’s results left them at the bottom of their group, surprising for a team that showed remarkable performances and talent in recent weeks.
All teams were able to seize at least one win in today’s matches.
The matches resume on May 4th, at 10:00 CEST, and are expected to be intense as the teams continue their quest towards the second stage of the qualifiers – the double elimination brackets.

No Diggity came out of the gate swinging. They upset Empire, shutting them down in a clean sweep, 2:0, and moved on to wipe out Polarity in their series.
Power Rangers showed a tremendous show of force, as they fell into second place in the group with three wins and only one loss. They swept through Polarity, 2:0, and split their series with Kaipi, 1:1.

Kaipi and Polarity are both tied with two points, after taking two wins and four losses. Polarity‘s win comes from sweeping Kaipi, 2:0, while Kaipi’s winning points come from the split series with Power Rangers and Team Empire.
The split series with Kaipi was the only win that Team Empire was able to grab. A surprising and disappointing first day result for the CIS team after taking commendable third and fourth place finishes in ESL One Manila and WePlay LAN, respectively.
Manila Major EU Qualifiers results day 1: Group B
With less matches played in the first day, Ad Finem and Vega Squadron are both tied for the first place in their group, after winning two games each. Ad Finem swept through Team Spirit, while Vega was able to wipe out Virtus.Pro.
After suffering from their loss against Ad Finem, Team Spirit took the series against Rebels, 2:0.
Both Virtus.Pro and Rebels are sitting at the bottom of their group with one point/one win a piece, with their only wins coming from the series they split against each other.
