DreamLeague Season 5 results: Upper bracket semi final #1 – OG vs No Diggity
The defending champions edged out No Diggity after a three game series. Despite a fantastic game for Adrian “Era” Kryeziu on his signature Tiny and a flawless game for Max “qojqva” Bröcker on Naga Siren, OG pulled off the first victory after a few back and forth swings in lead. No Diggity struck back hard in the second game. Shutting down Amer “Miracle-“ al-Barqawi on Phantom Lancer and Andreas “Cr1t-“ Franck Nielsen on Earth Spirit in the middle lane, OG were left to struggle. No Diggity took the lead and control immediately and forced a deciding third game. In the final game OG rebounded from their loss and came out of the gate swinging. Armed with a ferocious and flawless performance by Johan “BigDaddy” Sundstein on Sven and fantastic middle lane performance by Miracle- on Templar Assassin OG claimed the victory easily for the match and the series.
DreamLeague Season 5 results: Upper bracket semi final #2 – Na’Vi vs Virtus.Pro
After Na’Vi’s first loss they staged a fantastic comeback taking the remaining two games. In the first game Na’Vi didnt seem to have a great strategy for their draft and Virtus.Pro capitalized on their opportunities with smooth execution. Things were fairly even in the second game between the two teams taking 47 minutes to determine a winner. Na’Vi eventually overpowered their opponents and tied up the series. Virtus.Pro went with the Drow strategy for the third game but Na’Vi had a fantastic team fight lineup and great positioning, making things very difficult for Virtus.Pro. Na’Vi seized the control and maintained it for the duration to take the win for the game and the series.
This was only the 3rd pro game ever where a Nature's Prophet has gone Mekanism and Pipe.

DreamLeague Season 5 results: Upper bracket final – OG vs Na’Vi
Coming right off the heals of a three round first series, Na’Vi went head to head with the defending champions- OG. The CIS team took the lead in the laning phase and early game until OG turned the tides on them and seized the advantage and lead. Na’Vi struggled to find farm and hold on long enough to find an opening or opportunity to change things but it was at no avail. In the second match OG made a Brood Mother first pick but Na’Vi seemed undaunted and took the first three kills in just over a minute. Danil “Dendi” Ishutin made some beautiful plays on Wind Ranger and the team executed their Drow strategy well. Pushing into the win, Na’Vi tied up the series. The final game started out with a courier snipe by Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev answered by him becoming first blood shortly after. The game was relatively even until about 16 minutes in when Na’Vi would take a bad fight at the Roshan Pit and OG would seize the momentum and control of the game until the end. With OG’s win they secured a spot in the Grand Finals and dropped the CIS team to the lower brackets.

After a long wait following their loss in the first series, No Diggity went on to face Virtus.Pro in the early hours of the morning for the final series. With a flawless and incredible performance by Ilya “ALOHADANCE” Korobkin on the Juggernaut and a fantastic game by Sergey Alexandrovich “G” Bragin on the Queen of Pain, there was not much that the Europeans could do to gain an advantage. The second match took almost one hour to determine a winner with 52 minutes of fierce competition.
