KuroKy forms 5Jungs with FATA-, Jerax, MATUMBAMAN and MinD_ContRoL

Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi’s team – 5Jungs – is comprised of a mix of known professional players including Lasse “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen, Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka, Adrian “FATA-” Trinks and Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Borislavov. The team will make their debut in just a few days for the ESL One New York Main Qualifiers.

Rumors surrounding KuroKy’s new team can finally be laid to rest as his team’s roster and name were revealed during JoinDota’s announcement for the ESL One European Main Qualifiers.

KuroKy’s new team will be making their debut as an invited team for the ESL One New York Main Qualifiers that will begin on August 31st. The new roster will compete for the only available European Qualified spot for the Main Event that will take place October 3-4 at Madison Square Garden for a share of the $250,000 prize pool.

  • Team Secret’s shocking and disappointing eighth place finish at TI5, despite being the tournament favorites, brought about significant changes for the team. With the announcement of a completely revamped roster on August 22nd, KuroKy had parted ways with the team in search of a new adventure.
  • FATA- comes from Cloud 9 which disbanded on August 14th, following a sub-par performance at TI5. The team was eliminated on the second day of the main event, placing 10th overall.
  • On August 18th Jerax announced that he was parting ways with MVP.Hot6ix and returning back to Finland. The Korean team had a disastrous run in the TI5 group stage. They finished at the bottom of Group B, with only 2 points, and were eliminated by Invictus Gaming on the very first day of the main event, on August 3rd.
  • 4ASC featuring MATUMBAMAN were eliminated in the lower bracket finals by Vega Squadron in the TI5 European Qualifiers, losing their opportunity to attend the main event. There has been no official word about the Finish’ players departure from the team as of yet.
  • In early May, MinD_ContRoL parted ways with Basically Unknown. He then stood in for Burden United.
