After two days, starting with almost 450 teams competing, Goblak’s stack, Golden Boys and Abraxas claimed the three available spots in the ESL One New York Qualifiers.

The three victorious teams battled their way through almost 450 teams including HellRaisers who made a return to competition, HeHe, Sqreen Squad, Monkey Freedom Fighters (comprised of SingSing, 7ckngmad, Ar1sE, Paris and Yapzor), and Yellow Submarine.
Artur “Goblak” Kostenko’s stack, “newteam123123”, claimed one of the spots for the main qualifier with a mix that includes Sedoy, NoFear and secret players he has claimed he will reveal later.
Golden Boys claimed the second slot. The Greek squad is the recently departed London Conspiracy roster, with new member Verros “Maybe Next Time” Apostolos.
After being defeated by Golden Boys, 2:1, Abraxas moved to compete versus the French team Zero Respect! for the last slot in the main qualifiers and swept through them to claim third place.
ESL One New York Open Qualifiers SEA
In the SEA region, just over 300 teams competed for the four available spots in the ESL One New York SEA Main Qualifiers. Soundblaster BackTick from Malaysia, Kingdom from Singapore, Team B from the Philippines and Team Underminer from Malaysia were the four teams to advance.
No dates have been provided for the North American open qualifiers.
ESL One New York
Details have yet to be disclosed. This year will feature a starting prize-pool of $250,000, almost double the final amount of last year’s event.
Teams have not yet been announced, although many will expect to see the reigning champions ViCi Gaming in attendance.
The event will take place again at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, on October 3rd and 4th.
ESL One New York Tickets
One recurring complaint the organization received from the community was that the cost of admission was too high. ESL One announced that they would reduce the cost and provide refund for those who have already purchased tickets.
Price changes
The price changes are as follows:
- Day ticket: $59 reduced to $39 ($20 refund)
- Weekend ticket: $89 reduced to $59 ($30 refund)
- Premium ticket: $269 reduced to $169 ($100 refund)
Refund process
Refunds will only be given at the event itself, on October 3rd and 4th.
In order to claim any refunds, ticket holders who purchased their tickets before August 4th will need to visit the ESL Shop at the Madison Square Garden Theater with proof of purchase and ID.

Tickets can be purchased online through ESL website, at Ticket Master or at the Madison Square Garden Box Office.
