Next Gen has slid into the DAC 2017 SEA Qualifiers, replacing Fnatic. Next Gen has stepped up to the plate, answering the call to replace Fnatic in the DAC 2017 SEA Qualifiers.
Fnatic just recently announced that they would be withdrawing from the qualifiers as they continue to be plagued by the roster issues that have prevented them from registering for the Kiev Major season.
Assuming Fnatic’s place will mean that Next Generation will be assigned to Group A and face off against the Malaysian team WG.Unity for their first match.
The DAC 2017 SEA Qualifiers will begin on February 3rd, covering a span of 10 days. Eight teams will compete – only one team from the region will advance to the main event.
The DAC 2017 LAN will take place in Shanghai, China March 28 – April 4th. The base prize pool of $500,000 is expected to increase dramatically – especially considering how the last iteration of DAC in 2015 reached a staggering $3,057,519.

Next Gen
Next Gen is the first professional Dota 2 team with dedicated management body in Vietnam. The team was created in 2015, winning South eSports Championship shortly after in December 2015.
In the last year, Next Generation has had several higher profile appearances in the SEA region during the last year.
The team qualified for the Manila Major regional qualifiers – ultimately taking 5 – 10th place, as well as ROG MASTERS South East Asian Qualifier.
Next Generation never ended up competing in the main event of ROG MASTERS and was replaced by Execration as the team withdrew and opted to play in WESG 2016 Asia Pacific Finals but unfortunately were unable to attend due to visa issues.
