OG, Evil Geniuses and Team Secret have been replaced by Team NP, Imperial and Virtus.Pro for DreamLeague Season 6. In addition, the talent list brings Sheever and SirActionSlacks to the studio along with GoDz and ODPixel and various special guests. The season kicks off in mere days on October 11th. The playoffs will take place at DreamHack Winter November 25-26th.

DreamLeague Season 6 has provided an update including the three new teams to be joining the event and the talent that will bring the action to the fans over the course of the season.
Shaking things up a bit OG, Evil Geniuses and Team Secret announced yesterday that they will no longer be participating in the event due to the proximity of the Boston Major 2016. Valve made the announcement only days ago – the first Major of the new Dota 2 year would be taking place starting December 3rd in Boston, USA.
With that being said, DreamLeague were able to secure Team NP, Imperial and Virtus.Pro in their stead. The three teams are expected to have a strong season with Imperial being stable since June 24th.
The DreamLeague Season 6 talent has also been revealed at the same time.
Jorien “Sheever” Van der Heijden will be hosting the season along with Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner as the co-host. Casting will be provided by David “GoDz” Parker and Owen “ODPixel” Davies. In addition, a secret guest will be announced weekly. To the disappointment of many fans Andy “Draskyl” Stiles will not be a part of the season due to family reasons.
Team NP, Virtus.Pro, Imperial, Alliance, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, Vega Squadron and Escape Gaming are now set to square off for one of the four spots available in the playoffs at DreamHack Winter – November 25 -26th in Jönköping, Sweden.
The season itself is scheduled to start in only four days.
This season’s total prize pool is $231,000 distributed over the season and at the playoffs. Season 6 was expected to feature eight teams battling it out for one of four spots in the playoffs at DreamHack Winter – November 25 -26th in Jönköping, Sweden.

DreamLeague Season 5
OG retained their championship title following the DreamLeague Season 5 Grand Finals. The European team successfully defended their DreamLeague championship title from season 4 after they absolutely shellacked Na’Vi 3:0. OG walked away with another title – their third in six months and the $50,000 prize. Na’Vi claimed the second place on the podium, the $25,000 prize and climbed another rung on the ladder in reclaiming success.
