In Team Empire’s official statement, the organization introduces the partnership and endorses Logitech’s reliability.
Team Empire continues to move forward every day. We reach new heights, develop squads, expand our fan base. We have made a huge effort to keep up with the rapid development of e-sports. All of that wouldn’t be possible without partners and sponsors who always support Team Empire. (…) Starting today, players of Team Empire will use Logitech G – the special line of products for gamers.
“Team Empire has been a dominant force on the gaming scene for a long time. We’re privileged to be able to work with some of the best pro gamers in the eastern market. By teaming up with Team Empire we can take their feedback and develop the best gaming gear possible,” said Andreas Schicker, Head of Gaming EMEA for Logitech.
Team Empire’s recent performances
The sponsorship news comes on the heels of recent success for the team. Team Empire has won the MLG Pro League Championship and StarLadder Season XI. The MLG title has earned them a direct invite to the MLG-ESPN X-Games 2015 in Austin, Texas, this June. The team has upcoming appearances scheduled at DreamLeague Season 3 and Dota 2 Champions League, where they will be joining Burden United, Vici Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas at the LAN finals, in Berlin.
