Digital Chaos rebuilds with w33, MiSeRy, Resolut1on

Digital Chaos rebuilds after picking up a new squad consisting of Omar “w33” Aliwi, Rasmus “MiSeRy” Filipsen, Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok, David “Moo” Hull and Martin “Saksa” Sazdov. The team is reported to attend bootcamp in the United States and compete for the NA region.

Digital Chaos rebuilds as they picked up a new squad consisting of mainly Europeans and one American – Omar “w33” Aliwi, Rasmus “MiSeRy” Filipsen, Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok, David “Moo” Hull and Martin “Saksa” Sazdov.

  • w33 and MiSeRy found themselves in a surprising position earlier this week when they both were unexpectedly replaced on Team Secret by Artour “Arteezy” Babaev and Saahil “UNiVeRsE” Arora, four days before the rosters became locked for the Manila Major and The International 6. Team Secret won the Shanghai Major less than three weeks ago and were not expected to make any roster changes in this transfer window.

  • David “Moo” Hull had also thought his team was set for the upcoming season. On March 21st, Team Archon had released their new roster, including the captain of Peruvian team Infamous (formerly Unknown) – Jesus “Ztok” Carhuaricra. Ztok was unable to register for the team under Valve’s official registration process on March 24th. As he had made an attempt to register, he was flagged as being ineligible due to recent matchfixing. Moo then parted ways with the organization in an attempt to find a new team before the rosters were locked again.

  • Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok had parted ways with Digital Chaos on March 23rd, after only 6 weeks of competition with the team. On February 4th, it was announced that the Ukrainian player had parted ways with Team Empire to play with the North American team Digital Chaos, taking the place of Tyler “TC” Cook. This surprising and unprecedented move of a CIS player to a North American team has put the Dota 2 community in disarray.
  • Martin “Saksa” Sazdov was most recently a part of 4CL and then Mamma’s Boys until they disbanded recently.

    • Digital Chaos was dissolved by default after they lost Theeban “1437” Siva to Team Secret as a coach for the organization and then Evil Geniuses officially welcomed back both Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling and Sam “BuLba” Sosale to the organization earlier today.

    Digital Chaos rebuilds

    Now, organization and players come together in what looks to be a very promising and strong composition.

    The North American based organization is expected to hold a bootcamp in the United States and the team is anticipated to be competing as part of that region.

    The mix of mainly Europeans and a NA organization brings back to the surface questions of region locking and representation. The last major discussion took place one year ago in April when Team Tinker – consisting of two North-American players and three European ones, had been competing as a North-American team since their establishment.

    Digital Chaos

    Seasoned Dota 2 stars Aui_2000, BuLba and TC had started out trying their luck in the previous season alongside up and coming players YawaR and Biryu, on a brand new team, Digital Chaos, founded by SUNSfan.

    Although the team’s online presence had been noticeable, they did not really have the chance to shine on another level initially.

    Later, Dat Quoc “Biryu” Ha was released from Digital Chaos’ active roster and the team welcomed Theeban “1437” Siva in his stead as their fifth player. The move prompted the dissolution of his departing team – Cloud 9.

    Since the addition of 1437, the team grabbed an eighth place finish at The Summit 4 and seventh place at the Nanyang Championships LAN. They most recently took 4th place in the DotaCup Canada Season 6, on January 29th.
