White Fries has been announced as the invited team for MPGL SEA Championship being held at Selangor Cyber Games on September 9-11th at The Square, One City, Subang Jaya, Selangor.
The event will be the debut of the new lineup for the team which will continue to feature famed Singaporean player Benedict Lim “hyhy” Han Yong and Malaysian player Lee “kYxY” Kong Yang.
In the post TI6 shuffle, the team has dropped Wilson “Poloson” Koh Chin Wei and Li “chisbug” Chen, moved Nicholas “xFreedom” Kelvin Ileto Lim into the active role and recruited Wai Pern “Net” Lim who was most recently on Fnatic and particiapted in TI1 with MUFC, took third at TI3 with Orange and participated in TI4 with Titan.

White Fries Gaming was formed by Gong “ZSMJ” Jian and storied Singaporean player Benedict Lim “hyhy” Han Yongat the end of March during the Manila Major/TI6 team registration period.
Hyhy had taken third at The International 1.
After minimal results and only one month of competitive play together, ZMSJ parted ways with the team.
Shortly after, the team went through another round of roster changes, bringing on Lee “kYxY” Kong Yang and 曾晨 Zeng “290” Chen.
White Fries Gaming had advanced to the playoff round in the main TI6 SEA qualifiers but fell 2:0 to Fnatic and and then were eliminated by XctN 2:0 in the lower bracket round 1.
