After the first day of WCA 2016 groups – with teams competing on the new update 7.00, the WCA 2016 finals have been set.
TnC Gaming withdrew from the event only yesterday, taking def-losses for all of their matches and leaving Group A with only four teams. Group B was a much tougher and closer affair. After a stellar run at the Boston Major, WarriorsGaming.Unity were expected to be a clear winner of the groups. They however ended the round with 1:3 record, taking their only victory against Union Gaming – who were not able to clinch a single victory.
Vega Squadron, We Are Young and Prodota Gaming all tied for first place with a 3:1 record – requiring a tie breaker.
