TI6 Chinese Qualifiers standings day 2
TI6 Chinese Qualifiers standings tie-breaker
First place tie-breaker: Wings vs EHOME
What started out as a relatively even game for the first 14 minutes turned into a decisively one sided match in favor of Wings. A flawless match for Chu “Shadow” Zeyu on Void, and an incredible performance by Zhou “bLink” Yang on Mirana clinched the ESL One Manila Champions the first spot for TI6 in only 29 minutes.
Fifth place tie-breaker: ViCi Gaming vs IG. Vitality
In the series to determine which team would go home and which team would advance to the playoffs, tensions and emotions were high. IG.Vitality had started out strong looking, taking the lead and control early on. After taking a bad team fight at the Roshan at minute 26, they lost all momentum and control, giving ViCi Gaming the advantage. IG.Vitality fought hard to regain it from the veteran filled team, but ViCi Gaming held a tight grasp on it. It took a full one hour for ViCi Gaming to claim the spot in the playoffs and send IG.Vitality home.
TI6 Chinese Qualifiers standings playoff and eliminated teams
ViCi Gaming.Reborn and Invictus Gaming both fared well enough through the two days to land themselves into the playoff spots. Their last match of the day was against each other where ViCi Gaming.Reborn defeated IG to give them an even ending score of 6:3 each. ViCi Gaming.Reborn’s coach Tong “mikasa” Junjie was playing in place of Wang “Nono” Xin due to family illness. The famed coach had a spectacular run, not giving any room for critics to voice opinions.
The score in iG vs VG.R is 9-9. Mikasa is 9-0. So much for 'lacking star quality'.

CDEC Gaming has had subpar results since their spectacular TI5 runner up placement. Shortly after they had started to slip and in the Manila Major/TI6 roster lock period, the team lost three of its core member and continued to decline in results. The team ended with a 3:6 result.
CDEC.Youth and Newbee.Young continued to struggle and each took only one win today and one win yesterday to head into their last match with a 2:6 score. The two youth teams were then pitted against each in the last match of the day – giving…. the last win to move slightly ahead of ….
TongFu ended in last place, unable to secure a single win in their four matches today – resulting in a 1:8 score.
