Team Toast is a new team formed of one Danish and four Swedish players, ready to debut in the Manila Major open qualifiers, this weekend.
Two players from London Conspiracy – Linus “Kefka” Bleckert and Sebastian “solen” Kjær, along with three from COOKISS – Eskil “Eskillz” Sundblad, Dennis “Flens” Brofalk and Staffan “Steffstyle” Solin, have joined forces to bring back together 3/5 of the Team Coast roster.
Steffstyle, solen and Eskillz played together for Team Drakdräpare in 2014. They were then picked up by Monomaniac eSports in April 2014 and left shortly after to create Team Coast, as they branched off of the parent organization. The team was split up in September and members went in different directions. Two years and several teams later, players found their way to COOKISS and London Conspiracy.
Only days ago, London Conspiracy and their latest Dota 2 roster parted ways and disbanded.
Shortly afterwards, COOKISS announced that their roster had disbanded under amicable terms.
Both teams have a history of shared players and were considered friendly foes. On April 1st, it was reported that London Conspiracy support player Malthe “Biver” Winther had gone inactive temporarily to recover from an unfortunate arm injury. The Danish member was expected to return before The International qualifiers and the team had be utilizing Staffan “Steffstyle” Solin from COOKISS and other players as needed in the interim. The situation temporarily reunited Steffstyle with solen.
