Team NP and compLexity Gaming had hit the home run, grand slam finale in the Americas Boston Major qualifier playoffs.
Jacky “Eternal Envy’s” new squad had topped the group stage with a 6:1 record, losing only one game against the European invaders Prodota Gaming after a cheeky but failed Roshan attempt. Baffling the scene once again with his high risk plays, Eternal Envy’s team didn’t lose their composure and continued to knock it out of the park cruising through the rest of the groups and playoffs.
compLexity Gaming were always on the heels of Team NP. Stealing second place in the groups with a 5:2 record, they dropped their game vs NP, a result that would come back around again in the playoffs. The NA based team also suffered a loss to the European team Elements Pro Gaming, but were unscathed moving into the brackets. A strong start, compLexity surmounted FDL in a 2:0 sweep but were knocked down to the lower brackets by Team NP. Picking themselves back up, they went to bat against the famed Peruvian team Infamous taking a 2:1 victory and the second qualifier spot.

On September 9th Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao revealed his new lineup and brand – Team NP.
Earlier, EternaLEnVy had indicated he planned to make a new team, comprised of players not necessarily as known and made more with those he enjoyed playing with than stars. The new line-up still boasts known and respected players from across the region with big plans to become a top team.

For most of The International 6 regional qualifiers, coL looked confident, consistent and composed. Had they not dropped a game to FDL during the Round Robin stage, they would have been the first team to qualify for the main event in the Americas region. Unfortunately, they were left with a Wild Card spot and, once in Seattle, they failed to advance to the group stage and main event.
Following TI6, The compLexity Gaming 2017 roster brought three new faces to the organization. David “Moo” Hull, Justin “jk” Rosselle and Antonio “canceL^^” Mihai joined core members Kyle “melonzz” Freedman and Zakari “Zfreek” Freedman.
