The Manila Major EU Qualifiers standings are in after a long and eventful day has concluded for the day 2 group stage. The four regional teams that will advance have emerged.
No Diggity, Ad Finem, Team Empire and Vega Squadron have all progressed to the playoff stage of the event.
A tie breaker match was required between Ad Finem and Vega Squadron to determine the seeding. In a heavily one sided best-of-one match Ad Finem easily took the first place seed for the group and knocked the CIS team to second place.
No Diggity led the pack in their own group as well as the region coming in with 6 wins. Their first and only losses were served to them today by Kaipi who took the entire series. No Diggity made their debut performance in the EPICENTER Moscow EU qualifiers where they clinched the qualifier spot.
Team Empire rebounded from their woeful start yesterday. Giving fans the performances and results they were expecting to see, the CIS team climbed the rungs with winning all of their matches today. Their complete overhaul of a roster has yielded impressive results in such a short time.
Ad Finem have been a stable team and roster since early December and have continued to make headway in their success and name taking several second and third place finishes.
After a bit of a slump, the Vega Squadron made their first roster changes since before TI5 at the end of March. Pavel “9Pasha” Hvastunov was replaced by Rostislav “fn” Lozovoi in the carry role.
The matches resume on May 5th, at 11:00 CEST, and are expected to be intense as the teams continue their quest towards the second stage of the qualifiers – the double elimination brackets.

An incredible comeback in positions after a disappointing first day.
Kaipi took their only series of the day 2:0 against No Diggity, serving the SynderN and company their first and only losses. Their success wasn’t enough to grant them a spot in the playoffs after Team Empires rebound.
Power Rangers slipped into fourth place after their loss of the series against No Diggity and then Team Empire.

Manila Major EU Qualifiers standings day 2 Group B
Vega was sitting at the top of their group yesterday and throughout the day today. At the end of the day in one of the last matches, they were upset by Rebels, who snatched the series away from them 2:0 and ended up in a tie with Ad Finem.
Ad Finem started out the day splitting their series with Rebels and then Vega. With their first win in the series against Virtus.Pro, they eliminated Rebels and tied Vega Squadron with five points each. Their second match resulted in a split, putting them even with Vega Squadron with five points.
