ViCi Gaming vs. Invictus Gaming
The second day of the event started with ViCi Gaming and Invictus Gaming playing their first matches of the tournament. The game was delayed due to the last minute necessary qualifier to fill Mousesports’ spot after their short notice withdrawal due to visa issues. Invictus Gaming defeated Newbee.Youth, 2:1, and secured their place in the i-League Season 3 LAN finals.
ViCi Gaming easily grabbed the first game from IG, dominating them the entire time. IG responded with the same treatment in the second game, forcing a deciding third one. IG secured first blood about four minutes into the third game but twere not able to secure the lead long enough and lost 1:2. Alliance vs. ViCi Gaming
With ViCi Gaming winning their first round of the tournament, 2:1, versus Invictus Gaming, they advanced to the second round in the Upper Brackets to face Alliance.
The first game started fairly even until early mid game, when ViCi Gaming started to pull ahead with an Undying pick. Alliance was unable to prevent the Chinese team from seizing control from there out and lost in 30 minutes. Team Malaysia easily took the series, 2:0, and eliminated ViCi Gaming Potential.
