GameOn Invitational 3 has already begun. After four open qualifiers gave eight teams a place in the main event – 16 teams are now in contention for the $2,000 prize pool for the third season of the series. The first matches began on September 20th and are expected to span over the course of a month.
ItsGameOn announced GameOn Invitational 3 online tournament for Dota 2. The event features a $2,000 prize pool and includes a total of 16 teams – eight invited and eight qualified teams.
Flipsid3 Tactics will be on hand to defend their title from last season.
Several teams will be making their seasonal starts such as Kaipi’s new roster now including Brian “FLUFFNSTUFF” Lee, GO2OLYMP spearheaded by Khaled “sQreen” El-Khabbash and LVLUP featuring Niklas “Wagamama” Högström.
The tournament will be held as a best-of-three single elimination bracket, which began on September 20th.

GameOn Invitational 2 granted Flipsid3 Tactics their first championship title under their new banner in May. The CIS team overpowered ProDota Gaming 2:0 in the grand finals.
