Game Show Global Esports Cup studio Lan in Vilnius has come to a close. 4CL, Team Empire, Vega and MVP.Phoenix are heading to Dreamhack in Moscow to compete in the finals. The four qualified teams will be battling it out December 5-6th for the $125,000 first place prize and championship title. No Logic Gaming and compLexity Gaming have been eliminated.

4 Clovers & Lepricon, Team Empire, Vega and MVP.Phoenix all earned their spot in the Grand Finals, which will run within DreamHack Moscow, December 5-6th.
4CL had topped the group stage, taking four wins and one loss, giving them a staggering 12 points. Team Empire, Vega and MVP.Phoenix all followed behind, taking their positions with eight, seven and six points respectively. No Logic Gaming and compLexity had struggled with their matches, falling to the bottom of the group with two losses and three draws, giving them three points each.
Six teams were in attendance at the Studio Lan in Vilnius, Lithunia the last few days. Although the event was intended to feature eight teams,the Studio portion of the event had been plagued with more changes to the lineup just days before the start.
IG and Newbee had withdrawn from participation, while TnC Pro Gaming were unable to obtain their visas. There ended up being be no Chinese regional representation at all, dropping the eight team participation down to six. TnC was replaced by MVP.

Team Empire swept through Scaryfacezzz 3:0 for their spot. Vega Squadron became the second team to qualify for the studio LAN portion for the Game Show Global eSports Cup. Vega swept through HellRaisers, 3:0, for the second CIS spot.
4CL had swept through London Conspiracy 3:0 to easily take their place in Vilnius. No Logic Gaming had a long five game series, with back and forth victories to battle through before they emerged as the winners over STARK eSports, 3:2
compLexity swept through EWolves 3:0 and qualified to attend the studio LAN portion for the Game Show Global eSports Cup
Game Show Global eSports Cup format
The Game Show Global eSports Cup was played out in six distinct stages. Open Qualifiers, two Group stages and Regional Qualifiers are held in five regions: North America, Europe, CIS, China and SEA. The last two phases of the event will feature Studio LAN playoffs and the Grand Finals to be held at the DreamHack LAN event in Moscow, Russia.

Six teams from the various regions will compete in the fifth phase of the event series. The Studio LAN playoffs will take place between November 30 – December 3 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Only four teams will reach the Grand Finals of the tournament.

The top four teams from the Studio LAN playoffs will participate in the Grand Finals, which will run within DreamHack Moscow. The event is scheduled to take place between December 5-6.
