ESL One Frankfurt 2016 Europe Open Qualifiers began today with over 170 teams competing. Three teams will advance to the regional qualifier starting April 4th. ESL One Frankfurt 2016 will round out the organizations $1,000,000 pledge in prize pools to Dota 2. The main event will take place June 18 and 19th at Commerzbank-Arena in Germany

The qualifiers are stacked this time around. Some notable and fierce opponents are among the 171 teams registered to enter into ESL One Frankfurt 2016 Europe Open Qualifiers today – ProDota Gaming, PRIES, 4 Vikings and Dane, E-Lab, Kaipi, Fantastic Five, Komanda 5, NoLifer5, Power Rangers, AD FINEM, YeS, Elements Pro Gaming, Face the North (Ad Finem B squad) Rebels!,Team Empire, The Puck, ENSO, Team Slark and Vegetable Esports.
Three lucky teams will secure their place among some of the best teams in Europe for the regional qualifier to be held starting April 4th. Three winners will then advance to take their place among the top teams in the world in Frankfurt, Germany for the premier Dota 2 event.
China and Southeast Asia qualifiers will be forthcoming.

- The open qualifiers will take place starting today, April 2nd, at 14:00 CEST
- Teams can still register to participate HERE until 13:50 CEST
- All matches will be best-of-one until the semi-finals
- Semi-finals and finals will be best-of-three
- Top 3 teams will gain a slot for the regional qualifiers
- Regional qualifiers will be held starting on April 4th

ESL One Frankfurt 2016 closes out the $1,000,000 pledge to Dota 2 and brings the festivities back to Germany in June 2016 with a $250,000 starting prize pool featuring eight of the best teams from around the world. It continues to maintain a focus on fan and onsite activity and viewing experience. The event will return to Commerzbank-Arena June 18th and 19th

Rank Seating – €29 (sit on the rank seats, while at the same time saving a bit on the ticket cost. Access to the festival remains the same)
Infield Seating ticket – €39 ( free seating on pitch level and are free to move around as you please. Of course you will still have access to all the festival activities.)
Premium ticket – €249 (seating right in front of the stage with exclusive signing sessions, exclusive Secret Shop premium ticket, unlimited food and drink and a bonus surprise to be announced soon)
