BTS Americas 3 wrapped up last night, giving Digital Chaos their first championship title. The team and organization had formed at the end of August, following the TI5 post shuffle. While they maintained a strong presence in both the regional and international scene, they had yet to lay their hands on a title and first place position.
The North American team went through the brackets to the grand finals, undefeated. They swept through NoT Today, Balrogs and Power of Friendship without suffering a single loss.
Team Archon bested EverNova 2:1. They then swept through South American teams Pain and EWolves 2:0 before landing in the grand finals.

On February 4th it was announced that Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok had parted ways with Team Empire and joined the North American squad as an official member, replacing Tyler “TC” Cook.
While the move was both surprising and uncommon, it demonstrated the high level of commitment by both parties to find success.
Seasoned Dota 2 stars Aui_2000, BuLba and TC had started out trying their luck in the new season alongside up and coming players YawaR and Biryu, on a brand new team, Digital Chaos, founded by SUNSfan.
Although the team’s online presence had been noticeable, they did not really shine on another level initially.
Shortly later, Dat Quoc “Biryu” Ha was released from Digital Chaos’ active roster and the team welcomed Theeban “1437” Siva in his stead as their fifth player. The move prompted the dissolution of his departing team – Cloud 9.
Since the addition of 1437, the team grabbed an eighth place finish at The Summit 4 and seventh place at the Nanyang Championships LAN. They most recently took 4th place in the DotaCup Canada Season 6 on January 29th.
