The organization announced that Ivan “ArtStyle” Antonov is parting ways with the team. It seems that the team’s sub-par performance at TI5 and lack of overall results is the reason for the separation.
We are very grateful to Ivan for the time he spent in Natus Vincere, and wish him good luck in his future endeavors. We hope that he will never give up the idea to win his second Aegis.
Unfortunately, we failed at The International 2015. Thus, we agreed that the right decision would be for me to leave the team. I wish the guys all the best of luck and many bright victories on their way. As for me, I am not going to stop playing and will come back to the professional scene really soon.
– Artstyle
Artstyle returned to Na’Vi in April, as part of the last roster changes before TI5. The promise seemed there when the Ukrainian team was able to secure the TI5 European Qualifier spot.
The team was then invited to participate in the MarsTV Dota 2 League, but Artstyle was unable to make the trip to China at the last moment and Na’Vi were eliminated in the group stage.
Shortly afterwards, Na’Vi placed second in DreamLeague Season 3. Unfortunately, the squad had a disappointing performance at TI5, where they came in 14th, after being knocked out of contention on the very first day of the main event.
