The DotaPit Season 5 brackets and talent list have been released. With only days left to go, all of the final details are starting to fall into place. Beloved commentators such as Sheever, ODPixel and Godz will be bringing to life all of the action from Split, Croatia as eight teams compete for the $125,000 prize pool January 20-22nd. First up to bat will be Virtus.Pro facing off against Balkan team Elements Pro Gaming – featuring local favorite Damir “Mitch” Škaričić on offlane.

The DotaPit Season 5 brackets and talent list has been revealed to the public just ahead of the commencement of the big LAN event.
Commentary and hosting will be provided by seven of the scene’s most known personalities. Jorien “Sheever” van der Heijden, Ben “Merlini” Wu, Owen “ODPixel” Davis and Ioannis “Fogged” Loucas will come to Croatia straight from casting WESG 2016 in China. They will be joined by Toby “Tobiwan” Dawson, David “Godz” Parker and Dakota “KotLGuy” Cox.
The first day of match ups will be between Virtus.Pro and Elements Pro Gaming – followed by OG vs Invictus Gaming. Games kick off at 10:00 CET.

Format

Dota Pit Season 5 LAN Finals
This season only two teams have been directly invited instead of four as in Season 4. China were able to participate with their own qualifier sending a representative from the region and CIS had their own qualifier to send a team from.
Six teams qualified from the groups in each of the regions, joining the two directly invited teams – Digital Chaos and Elements Pro Gaming to compete in the The Dota Pit League Season 5 LAN event scheduled to take place January 20-22nd.
The eight teams will compete for the $125,000 base prize pool that can be increased through in-game ticket sales on sale for $1.99 HERE and sets.
