ROG Masters Chinese and Rest of Asia qualifiers have concluded. EHOME.X and MAX.X have each claimed a spot in the ROG Masters Asian tournament to represent China and ENTiTy eSports, Aggressive 5 will compete for the Rest of Asia. The event boasts a $150,000 prize pool and will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia November 12-13th.
The ROG Masters qualifiers have come to an end after the Chinese and Rest of Asia qualifiers have rounded out the four week series.
Teams from Teams from China and then India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives competed for the two spots in the ROG Masters Asian tournament.
EHOME.X, a team from the renowned EHOME organization were the favorites, expected to dominate and didn’t disappoint. A lesser known team MAX.X prevailed at the end as well for their spot.
Two teams from India emerged at the top of the Rest of Asia qualifiers. ENTiTy eSports knocked out two other teams from India and a team from Pakastan for their place. Aggressive 5 overpowered three other teams from India to be the winners.
ROG Masters Asian Tournament
At the end of August, ROG Masters announced a new Asian tournament boasting a $150,000 prize pool. The event incorporates five regions competing for 10 spots in the Grand Finals to be held in the City Center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the 12th and 13th of November. Two teams will be directly invited with information forthcoming.
The main event LAN is free for spectators to attend in the City Center of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and will also feature CS:GO with a $50,000 prize pool.
ROG has sponsored multiple events in Dota 2 including ASUS ROG DreamLeague, PlayitCool and products being featured and used in the International 5 and 6 All star games among other Major Dota 2 events.
