Team Empire will replace Na’Vi as one of the four invited teams for the ProDotA Global Grand Master. In turn, Flipsid3 Tactics will assume Team Empire’s spot in the closed qualifiers. The event is anticipated to start in July. Eight teams – Team Liquid, Alliance, Team Empire, Vega – and four qualified teams will compete for the $50,000 prize pool in the first ProDotA top tier event. The competition will kick off on July 15th with the closed qualifiers.

Team Empire have been directly invited to the main event of the ProDotA Global Grand Master. The completely revamped CIS roster will be replacing Na’Vi as one of the four direct invites. According to organizers, Na’Vi have declined their invitation.
Team Empire recently qualified for the Manila Majors after tearing through the EU open qualifiers and overcoming Ad Finem, 3:2, in the Manila Major Qualifiers EU Grand Finals.
Team Empire’s new roster is a complete overhaul with five new players. Only hours after being dissolved in the aftermath of the spring Major reshuffle, the squad was rebuilt. The team has been hedging on their new found structure to build them new heights and so far they have not fallen short of their goal – taking third place in ProDota Cup EU 5, third in ESL One Manila 2016, fourth at WePlay LAN and first in the Manila Major EU Regional qualifiers.
Flipsid3 Tactics will compete in the closed qualifiers instead of Team Empire. F3 have just claimed their fifth championship title in the last two months last night for GameOn Invitational 2. The CIS squad formerly known as !Rebels! was signed by the NA organization only four days ago.
