Flipsid3 Tactics champions of GameOn Invitational 2

GameOn Invitational 2 grant Flipsid3 Tactics (formerly !Rebels!) their first championship title under their new banner. The CIS team overpowered ProDota Gaming 2:0 in the grand finals. Both teams were directly invited to participate in the eight team invitational featuring a $2,000 prize pool. This is their fifth championship title since the team formed at the end of March.

ItsGameOn announced the second GameOn Invitational online tournament for Dota 2. The event featured a $2,000 prize pool and included eight invited teams. The tournament was held as a best-of-three single elimination bracket, beginning on May 17th.

In a heavily one sided series, Flipsid3 Tactics wiped through ProDota Gaming in a clean 2:0 sweep. The CIS squad has had strong performances in the region since they were formed for the Manila Major/TI6 registration period.

F3 swept through PRIES and then bested BroodMothers 2:1 in order to advance to the grand finals.

ProDota Gaming swept through YeS and bested Spigs 2:1 before claiming their place in the grand finals.

Flipsid3 Tactics

After a long absence in the Dota 2 scene, Flipsid3 Tactics returned by signing the newly formed and quickly rising CIS team !Rebels!

Ivan “VANSKOR” Skorokhod put together a mix of Russian players, called !Rebels! only two days before the Manila Major and TI6 rosters became locked at the end of March.

The team has taken first place at the NXTGAME Invitational #2, ProDotA Cup Europe #5, NVIDIA Dota 2 CIS Cup Series Grand Final #5, Solid Dota2 Challenge and the Manila Major 2016: European Open Qualifier #2. The team placed 3rd in their group with four points, missing out on qualifier’s playoffs by one point.
