Fnatic secured another LAN event, taking down Mineski 2:0 in the grand finals of the SL iLeague StarSeries season 2. The Malaysian based squad will be traveling to the US July 19-24th for the main event. Eight teams – three invited and five qualified will compete for the $300,000 prize pool.

Fnatic will represent SEA in SL iLeague StarSeries season 2 scheduled to take place in the US between July 19-24th. The exact location has not yet been revealed.
The Malaysian team defeated Mineski 2:0, proving they are still on fire and securing LAN events and top placements since the Shanghai Major.
After coming out of the group stage where they bested XctN 2:1 and swept through Mineski, Fnatic then cleaned out both MVP.Phoenix and again Mineski 2:0 to claim their spot at the main event.
Eight teams – three invited and five qualified teams will gather together to battle it out for a piece of the $300,000 prize pool and a chance to prove themselves before TI6 in August.
Newbee has secured their place to represent China through their H-Cup weekly series performances – taking the first position in the series with eight points.
SL iLeague StarSeries season 2
At the end of March, it was revealed SL iLeague StarSeries would begin with a second season. This time, joint organizers announced that the offline finals would be taking place July 19-24th for the first time in the United States. No specific venue or location has been identified.
SL iLeague StarSeries season 1
The first season of SL iLeague StarSeries saw 12 teams, qualified through four regional qualifiers, compete in a group stage followed by a final playoff for a total prize pool of $300,000. Alliance become StarLadder iLeague StarSeries Champions, taking their second consecutive title and the first LAN title of the new year when they easily bested Evil Geniuses 2:0 in the Grand Finals.
The event was held in the Minsk Arena with an announced total capacity of 18,000 spectators.
