ViCi Gaming Reborn have prevailed over LGD Gaming 2:1 in SL iLeague Dota 2 playoffs. ViCi Gaming Reborn will advance to the Grand Finals to challenge Na’Vi. The final day of Sl iLeague Dota 2 playoffs kicked off the Chinese faceoff series between ViCi Gaming Reborn and LGD Gaming.
With their signature mark of discipline, LGD Gaming remained poised and solid always. Individual plays leading into extraordinary combos and coordination really set LGD Gaming apart.
Xu “fy” Linsen’s drafting has been next level and true to a common theme, they have continuously proven they can not be counted out. Ambitious, strategic, and talented, this Chinese team has the ingredients needed to stage spectacular comebacks and performances.
The qualifier team – ViCi Gaming Reborn outdraftde and outplayed their opponents. VG Reborn forced LGD Gaming to have to play reactive and out of their comfort zone giving way to being able to clinch their victory of the series in a convincing manner.
SL iLeague Dota 2 playoffs: Lower Bracket finals
The start of the first match was even keel between the two Chinese teams until about 12 minutes into the game. ViCi Gaming Reborn started to pull ahead, but LGD Gaming would get up each time they were knocked down and swing back. Always being disciplined, LGD Gaming continue to wait out their timings and to capitalize on the mistakes and over-extensions. Committing a bit too far and being overly aggressive ViCi Gaming Reborn started to lose their grip on the lead and giving the momentum to LGD. Once they grabbed that lead, LGD Gaming steamrolled through ViCi Gaming Reborn.
ViCi Gaming Reborn once again proved they are ones to excel under the pressure. After taking the first loss, they rebounded quickly. The draft, the plays and the execution was back in top form as they dominated from the get go. LGD Gaming seemed to have difficulty finding their place and gaining a real hold on the game and took a loss in 31 minutes.
The deciding game was all about ViCi Gaming Reborn. The team came started out strong and forced LGD Gaming to have to play reactive and defensively. Taking the lead, they then charged the way to the end of the match, making sure to execute their strategy and rotations with flawless perfection. ViCi Gaming Reborn advance to the Grand Finals with their victory.

SL iLeague Dota 2 playoffs
The SL iLeague Dota 2 playoffs will feature a prize pool of $100,000. The event will take place between April 14-17 at the Kiev Cybersport Arena in the Ukraine.
Eight teams will compete, including reigning champions Alliance. OG, LGD, MVP.Phoenix, Na’Vi and Virtus.Pro have been directly invited. Vega Squadron has secured the European qualifier spot and ViCi Gaming Reborn grabbed the Chinese spot through their victories in the H-Cup.
