The team was created in time to register for the upcoming Shanghai Major. Troels “syndereN” Nielsen has announced he had a roster to compete with and would be taking a step back from the desk and focusing on competing. He was joined by known players Adrian “Era” Kryeziu, Elias “Sealkid” Merta, Ioannis “Fogged” Loucas and Trent
“sLicKz” Tucker.
According to syndereN, in an interview with Dotablast, Steak Gaming was looking to “be considered for a direct invite” to TI6 as they were planning on working hard to grow and develop in the months leading to the event.
The team struggled to advance in the Shanghai Open Qualifiers, making an early exit after being defeated by Samurai Champloo in Round of 256.
The team since then had taken 7-8th place in both the MDL Winter 2015 European Qualifiers and in Hitbox Elite Cup.
syndereN has just secured his visa to travel to China as one of the talents being featured in the Shanghai Major.
