Unknown’s team status appears to be in limbo as both the captain, Jesus “Ztok” Carhuaricra and Alexis “Greedy” Ventura seem to have parted ways with the roster. Ztok has confirmed he has joined Artyk Gaming alongside Steven “StingeR” Vargas and Juan Carlos “vanN” Tito. The young Peruvian squad was the first ever South American team to qualify for any Valve event. There has been no official word for the team confirming the status of the team.
Last night, the captain of Unknown’s team, Jesus “Ztok” Carhuaricra announced on facebook that he was parting ways with the squad.
Time has come to part ways.
It was a very hard and tough decision for me because I didn’t consider them just as teammates. They where like my brothers, my sons, a family and I’m happy but not yet satisfied with what we achieved. I leave UNKNOWN and not because of internal issues. I simply decided to reach for more. Hopefully I won’t regret this and I will give my all so this doesn’t happen.
Hours later, Artyk Gaming, welcomed the young Peruvian rising star as the third member of their team.
The first two official members introduced were Steven “StingeR” Vargas and Juan Carlos “vanN” Tito of Elite Wolves. Yesterday, VanN announced his departure from the Elite Wolves.
Artyk Gaming is a Peruvian organization founded in 2012 that has previously sponsored the Peruvian lineup that was picked up by Denial Esports.
Alexis “Greedy” Ventura also announced last night his departure from Unknown.
It is a step to the side, if you not move forward and I would like to highlight my full potential.
Thank you unknown for everything you’ve taught me, friendship is never goes, I consider you as my family.
It has not been announced or determined yet if Greedy will be joining his teammate on Artyk or not.
