Vega Squadron withdraw from The Defense #5 due to scheduling conflicts. The event takes place on the same dates as the Global eSports Cup’s LAN finals on December 5-6th at Dreamhack Moscow. 4 Clovers & Lepricon will replace the CIS squad.

Vega Squadron had announced that they would be withdrawing from the Defense #5 due to scheduling conflicts. Both the Defense #5 and GameShow League Global finals are being held on the same dates, December 5-6th.
Vega will be participating in the Game Show Global studio playoffs in Vilnius, Lithuania on November 30-December 3rd. Four out of the eight teams participating will then advance to the finals, held at DreamHack Winter in Moscow on December 5-6th.
GameShow League Global is the first tournament of a kind in Russia and it’s very important to show ourself to people that live in the same city where our headquarters are situated.
In the Defense #5, Vega tied with 4CL for second place the European team will receive default wins for the tie-breakers that would have determined of the two teams would advance to the Finals in Berlin on December 5-6th.
Vega Squadron
For the second time since TI5, Vega Squadron have announced that they will not be making any roster changes for the current roster unlock period. The CIS team had already made the commitment to stay together as a team following their early exit from TI5.
They then went on to claim the championship title at ESL One New York, after besting Team Secret 2:1.
Vega Squadron went on to take 12th place at the Frankfurt Major. The CIS team was seeded into the Upper Brackets, but fell short to Evil Geniuses 1:2 and were dropped to the lower brackets. They were then eliminated after losing to EHOME in the lower brackets 0:2.
