compLexity Gaming welcomes Swedish brothers, Rasmus “Chessie” Blomdin and Linus “Limmp” Blomdin for the new season, reviving most of the HON StayGreen roster from 2013-14. Simon “Handsken” Haag will also be joining the mix, leaving Luis “ZyzzY” Perez as the sixth player/substitute for the roster.

compLexity announced the changes to their Dota 2 roster to include familiar faces of the Blomdin brothers, formerly part of StayGreen roster for HON, picked up by compLexity’s HON division.
The return of both Chessie and Limmp is particularly exciting to us because it not only brings in two world class core players, but it also brings back two former compLexity players, Limmp as part of the original 2014 coL.Dota team, and Chessie from 2012-2013 coL.HoN. Additionally, this now brings the team to four members of the stayGreen HoN Championship team that won five straight LAN events in 2013-2014.
With the return of the “Vanguard brothers” we are excited to welcome yet another friendly face in Handsken. A long time friend and occasional rival of the team, Handsken proved himself as a top tier support player in NiP, helping guide his team to success both online and at LAN events around the world. We look forward to seeing even greater success with the assistance of his calm demeanor and crisp support play.
compLexity will be utilizing the substitute role in a more pro-active manner than has been previously been seen. With previous experience with the team, continued training at the team house and travel to tournaments, ZyzzY will be assuming a potentially important and beneficial role that could help to develop the team further.
In addition with the previous back problems experienced by Chessie, this will leave the team with nothing to chance, avoiding any negative consequences or chance for withdrawal for the Shanghai Major. Earlier, Invictus Gaming were forced to withdraw from the Frankfurt Major when Su “super” Peng was unable to obtain his travel documents and the team did not have a listed official substitute player.
The Swedes
Limmp and Handsken were both part of Ninja’s in Pyjamas lineup that recently disbanded after a disappointing year of results. Chessie had also been a part of the Swedish organization as a substitute player and coach.
Both Limmp and Chessie had played together on StayGreen then turned compLexity during their HON days, as part of the roster that had won five consecutive LAN events in 2013-2014.

Limmp just recently achieved the much coveted and respected 8k MMR rating, joining the ranks of Amer “Miracle-“ al-Barqawi and Aliwi “w33” Omar.
Chessie had been standing in for Alliance shortly after TI4, when Jerry “EGM” Lundkvist and Gustav “s4” Magnusson had departed the team. Chessie competed with the team and placed third in World Cyber Arena, in China, and third/fourth in NVIDIA Game. However, he had some serious back problems which started even before WCA. He was on leave for months, including missing ESL One New York and was unable to attend StarLadder Season X due to his condition.
compLexity Gaming
After coming in a commendable 11th place at The International 5, compLexity Gaming suffered roster changes. The team had a series of stand-ins, and try outs to replace both Tal “Fly” Aizik and David “MoonMeander” Tan, both whom parted ways with the team following The International and formed the team and organization, OG.
compLexity announced their finalized lineup just in time to meet the registration deadline for the first Dota 2 Major, bidding welcome to Peter “wayto” Nguyen and Michael “MJW” Nguyen, on September 2nd.
Following a rather lackluster start to the season and their failure to qualify for the Frankfurt Major, the team is underwent further roster changes as they bid farewell to the two players in October.
The roster has already swept through Digital Chaos 2:0 in the StarLadder/I-League America Playoffs and will be making their LAN debut at the upcoming Game Show Global Esports Cup Studio playoffs portion in Vilnius, Lithuania November 30-December 3.
