- Lower Brackets: OG
- Eliminated: ViCi Gaming, EHOME
20:50 CET: Lower Frankfurt Major Brackets: OG vs EHOME
In the first game OG were able to pick up their signature Tiny-Io combo while EHOME were able to pick up Queen of Pain for Chen “Cty” Tianyu. In a heavily one sided match, EHOME was able to manage a overwhelmingly farmed Queen of Pain, Wind Runner and Doom. Another fantastic Queen of Pain by CTY put him 10k gold ahead of the highest hero for OG and gave him a score of 14:2:11.
Cty has 80% win rate on QoP and that stat will only get better as EHOME take down OG in the first game. #FrankfurtMajor

OG picked up the Tiny-Io combo once again with an Alchemist while EHOME were able to grab Tusk for Ren “ELeVeN” Yangwei . The healing from Treant didn’t seem to do much for EHOME . With all of the heals and the supports helping out Tiny, it was just a matter of time for OG to be able to take control. Once Johan “BigDaddy” Sundstein on Tiny got his items, there was nothing that seemed to be able to stop him in the team fights. OG took the second game to tie up the series and force a third deciding game.
GG! Io and Tiny completely took off for @OGDota2 in game two! #FrankfurtMajor https://t.co/KzRMkaEzwA

The third game gave EHOME Tusk once again and a Bounty Hunter. OG picked up a Phantom Lancer for BigDaddy, which he played superbly, ending with 11:1:13. OG continues to impress and have a large variety of strategies and heroes that they play fantastic. The supports play perfectly to aid the core and achieve their objectives. The whole team continues to execute their strategies perfectly, giving themselves the win and a position in the top three placements.
TEAM WIPE! @OGdota2 are taking control of game three! #FrankfurtMajor https://t.co/KzRMkaEzwA

- Frankfurt Major standings: OG defeated EHOME 2:1 and will advance into Lower Frankfurt Major brackets. EHOME were eliminated .
17:30 CET: Upper Frankfurt Major Brackets: Evil Geniuses vs Team Secret
In the first game Team Secret went with their standard Magnus/Ember draft they had run before, which is a pretty powerful combo if they execute it perfectly. EG went with a very aggressive strategy as well with Axe and timbersaw with high burst damage and looked to be trying to shut down the dazzle. After 68 minutes of intense action, incredible plays from both teams and 2 Divine Rapiers for Jacky “Eternal Envy” Mao, Team Secret were able to take the victory.
DOUBLE RAPIER ON EE!! RIDICULOUS DAMAGE COMING OUT OF THE EMBER SPIRIT! #FrankfurtMajor https://t.co/KzRMkaEzwA

In the second game Team Secret was able to take Ember Spirit again, while Evil Geniuses took Storm Spirit for Syed Sumail “Suma1L” Hassan. Even though the hero has been nerfed since he played it so amazingly in TI5, he still did amazingly well. In a follow up fantastic game, the fights and the action was once again intense. The NA team were pretty much in control the entire game and were able to take the victory, leading to a tie in the series and forcing a deciding third game.
RAPIER DOWN!! TEAM WIPE TO FOLLOW! @Evilgeniuses TIE IT UP!! #FrankfurtMajor https://t.co/KzRMkaEzwA

The third game Team Secret had a really great lineup and with the surprise Huskar pick, it seemed that they were able to catch EG offguard and take control of the game. They also took Wind Runner again for Aliwi “w33” Omar, once again playing it beautifully. Team Secret had much control of the game throughout. Small mistakes by EG and when both Eternal Envy and w33 became much too strong for EG to control Team Secret took the final victory and the series. They are the first team to advance to the Grand Finals.

13:00 CET: Lower Frankfurt Major Brackets: EHOME vs ViCi Gaming Gaming
Once again EHOME were able to secure a Tuck pick for Ren “ELeVeN” Yangwei . In the beginning of the game ViCi Gaming were slightly ahead in gold and were taking the lead easily in experience, but an 8k gold swing in under 2 minutes would change things for EHOME. As they kept re-engaging the witch doctor heal, the treant heal and juggernauts healing wards were something that was very helpful for them to continue to push forward in fights. The timing windows for EHOME were perfect in the game. ViCi Gaming also had a few questionable actions and some poor positioning in one or two tea fights that also contributed to their loss, while EHOME were able to capitalize on that with their coordination and quick reflexes.
EHOME are playing really well as a team with strong calls midfight; alternately VG arent on the same page in fights, chaotic & ineffective
— Capitalist (@DotACapitalist) November 20, 2015
EHOME were able to grab Tusk once again and drafted a Pugna this time around. ViCi Gaming took Timbersaw for Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang. While the laning phase was fairly even, ViCi Gaming were able to take the lead in the early to mid game. Once again, ViCi Gaming had a few errors and misplays that EHOME was able to capitalize on. EHOME was able to turn things around, with Chen “Cty” Tianyu making plays all over the place and Wang “old chicken” Zhiyong ‘s strength and damage on Bristle Back they were able to take the victory and eliminate ViCi Gaming. EHOME have secured themselves a spot in the top four.
