With Team Secret’s victory over Team Empire in the all Western Grand Finals of the last season of MarsTV Dota 2 League in early June, still fresh in everyone’s memory, MarsTV made the announcement of their next season scheduled to take place in China January 27th to 31st.
The early announcement only included the dates and indicated some format changes coupled with some surprises. No additional details were provided, but are expected to be released in the upcoming months.
Last season was a successful event judging by the feedback we received from both the community and the teams to the point that many believe MarsTV Dota 2 League is the best tournament China has to offer. Our next season should be even better as we have improved our format and added a few surprises that we believe you will enjoy.

MarsTV Dota 2 League finals
Team Secret seized hold of their third consecutive LAN win in less than a month at the event after triumphing over Team Empire 3:1. Cloud 9 grabbed third place after taking down ViCi Gaming, to round out an all-Western podium.
