WCA 2016 main event begin today with the group stage. The event is the first to debut the new update 7.00 at a LAN. Newbee, ViCi Gaming, IG.VItality, WarriorGaming.Unity, Vega Squadron, Prodota Gaming, Union Gaming BO, VINCE TE IPSUM, TnC Gaming and We are Young have all converged in Yinchuan, China, December 14-16th to compete for the $760,000 prize pool.

WCA 2016 main event will be the first LAN to be played on the update 7.00.
With only two days to prepare under the incredibly revamped patch, ten teams go head to head for the $760,000 prize pool in Yinchuan, China. Over the next three days spectators will get a glimpse of the changes in competitive play and all teams have been knocked down to a level playing field.
The event kicks off with the group stage – only the top two teams from each will advance into the playoffs.

WCA 2016 ticket
The WCA 2016 in-game ticket has appeared in the Dota 2 store.
The $2.99 ticket will be valid only for each season. It is expected that each subsequent season will have its own new ticket to be purchased.
World Cyber Arena
The World Cyber Arena (WCA) is one of the premier organizers of global esports tournaments. In 2015 it boasted a prize pool totaling $3.9 million dollars; the comprehensive series featured four separate titles with invite-only Pro Qualifiers and Open Qualifiers. Players competed for cash and a trip to Yinchuan, China, to play at the WCA 2015 Finals for their share of the $1.9 million Finals prize pool across all titles – WarCraft III, CrossFire, Dota 2, Hearthstone, and Heroes of The Storm.
