Vegetables Esports Club revealed a plan to expand in the upcoming year. The North American casual Dota 2 team will become a full organization sponsoring competitive Dota 2 squads in both the Americas and Europe. The newly turned organization aims to branch out into both Overwatch and Counter Strike, as well.
For Majors and The International 7, we will have both an American & a European team, and hope to branch into Overwatch and CS. #GreenWorld

Vegetables Esports Club announced that they will be expanding in the upcoming year. The newly turned organization will have representing teams in both the Americas and the European region. Both squads are expected to compete in the Majors with hopes to secure a spot at The International 7.
The organization plans to include Overwatch and Counter Strike teams in the near future.
Vegetables Esports Club
Vegetables Esports Club started out in 2015, when Ben “Merlini” Wu, Austin “Capitalist” Walsh, Jacob “Maelk” Toft-Andersen, Kevin “Purge” Godec, and Monib “Monib” Baray registered for the Shanghai Major.
The commentators’ team participated in the Summit 5 and Shanghai Major open qualifiers for the North American region.
The team took the 3rd-4th place in the NA Shanghai Major Open Qualifiers and 8th-11th place in the Summit 5 qualifiers. Their lack of presence in other tournaments is mostly due to being a casual Dota 2 team with limited time for training and competition.
Since the team’s inception, Monib was replaced by William “Blitz” Lee. The Veggies registered former Evil Geniuses manager Charlie Yang as their official substitute, in March 2016.
Vegetables Esports Club registered for The International 6 Americas Open Qualifiers with a modified lineup. Veteran players Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier and Ioannis “Fogged” Loucas will compete in lieu of Maelk and Purge. Purge is on vacation with family.
Vegetables Esports Club TI6 Open Qualifiers roster:
Ben “Merlini” Wu
Austin “Capitalist” Walsh
William “Blitz” Lee
Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier
Ioannis “Fogged” Loucas

(868 comments)What was supposed to be a joke of a team, with casters playing in it for fun, has turned into a real organization looking to expand even further. Gl to them, as long as they have Merlini I’m cheering for them
