The TI6 Qualifiers Americas results from the playoffs continued to show quick and decisive victories. All matches went in a 2:0 sweep. The longest game lasted was 45 minutes. The lower bracket eliminations between FDL and Void Boys were the two more evenly matches teams to compete for the day.
Both compLexity and Digital Chaos wiped through their opponents with relative ease to advance in the upper brackets. The two favorites of the playoffs will go head to head in the next round. The series is expected to be more exciting and close than previous games in the playoffs so far.
Void Boys were unable to clinch a single win in their two rounds of matches yesterday. They were wiped out by Digital Chaos and then FDL 2:0. Their losses resulted in their elimination from the event.
The matches resume on June 28, at 21:00 CEST, and are expected to be intense. The teams will continue their quest within the second stage of the qualifiers – the double elimination brackets and Grand Finals. Only one team will claim the regional spot for the TI6. One team will have to try their luck in the TI6 Wild Card series.
TI6 Qualifiers Americas results
Upper Bracket preliminaries compLexity vs FDL
The first game compLexity ended the match in only 28 minutes. After an even laning stage, the NA/European mix took control at minute 7 and barreled through to the end. The big push strategy with Phantom Lancer and Nature’s Prophet was not enough to combat the damage and the coordination of compLexity.
The second match was about the same, with compLexity dominating easily. Having given Zakari “Zfreek” Freedman the Earth Spirit, the American was able to display his skill on the hero and give FDL no room to make an impact.

Upper Bracket preliminaries Digital Chaos vs Void Boys
The first match of the series Void Boys tried to go with the Alchemist and a Lifestealer, but it was no match for Aliwi “w33” Omar’s Invoker or Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok’s gyrocopter. A perfect game from David “Moo” Hull on Void closed out the win with ease.
Digital Chaos completely shellacked Void Boys in the second match. In only 20 minutes with a 15:5 score, the newly formed giants didn’t give the Canadian/American mix a moment at all to pull together.
TI6 Qualifiers Americas results: Digital Chaos 2:0 Void Boys Digital Chaos advanced the upper bracket finals and Void Boys dropped to the lower brackets elimination series.
Lower Bracket Round 1 FDL vs Void Boys
The opening game was the first evenly matched encounter of the playoff series so far. With the first 30 minutes being anyone’s game – having back and forth swings, FDL then grabbed the lead after a favorable team fight. They were able to hold tight and build off of their momentum to the end of the game for the win.
The second match was again much more evenly matched. While Void Boys had much of the slight advantage and control for the first 42 minutes, FDL did a great job trying to and occasionally stealing the lead from them. At minute 42 a devastating team fight at Roshan would through the lead and control into FDL’s favor and give them the second victory.
TI6 EU results: FDL 2:0 Void Boys. FDL advance in the lower bracket finals and eliminated Void Boys from the event.
