Heading into the new Boston Major season, Team Secret claimed their first championship title during the FACEIT Dota 2 Invivitational.
The revamped squad featuring a mix of two European and three SEA stars didn’t drop a single match in their journey through the brackets. With relative ease, they knocked Escape Gaming and then Team Empire out of the event in the brutal single elimination best-of-one matches.
Bringing their A game and trying to prove their worth for an invite to the Boston Major, the team then swept through Vega Squardon 2:0 to secure their trophy.
Vega Squadron had their own strong start to the season, taking out Ad Finem and upsetting Team Liquid to advance to the Grand Finals.
