Team Liquid have received the second and last direct invite for ESL One Manila. The boys in blue will compete for a total prize-pool of $250,000, alongside EHOME and six qualified teams. The LAN finals will take place in Manila, Philippines, between April 23-24.
According to an announcement made by ESL, Team Liquid have answered the call to compete at ESL One Manila.
Eight teams will compete in Manila: two directly invited teams (EHOME and Team Liquid) and six qualified ones (two teams from Southeast Asia and one team from Europe, America, China, and Philippines each).
Team Secret and Evil Geniuses have declined the direct invite due to the event being close on the heels of the Manila Major in the same location weeks later.
ESL One Manila will be the region’s first premium Dota 2 tournament and will give one local team the opportunity to compete alongside some of the best teams in the world.
