Team Faceless triumph in the SEA Dota Pit League Season 5 qualifiers. Continuing on trend, the new SEA team clinched the allocated spot and will head to Croatia for the LAN event. Team Faceless will compete for the $125,000 base prize pool against seven other top teams from around the world in January.

Team Faceless have become the new ‘face’ of the SEA scene, running over all of the competition and seizing opportunities in mass. The team is on a roll and have now conquered the SEA Dota Pit League Season 5 qualifiers. Taking down MVP.Phoenix 3:1 Team Faceless can book their tickets for the LAN event held in Croatia in late January 2017.
The Singapore based team took down MVP.Phoenix twice. After defeating Mineski 2:1 in the first round, they swept through the Korean team in the second round, sending them to the lower brackets. Upon besting Mineski, MVP then rose back to the top for the grand finals and a rematch against Team Faceless. They were still unable to overpower the new squad.
Daryl “iceiceice” Koh and company replaced Fnatic in the SEA Dota Pit League Season 5 qualifiers only four days ago.
This is the third consecutive LAN event that Team Faceless has qualified for in less than a month. The team most recently took a spot in the Boston Major with their astounding and flawless run in the SEA Boston Major qualifiers and a spot at the Summit 6.
Daryl “iceiceice” Koh, Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier, Wong “NutZ” Jeng Yih, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong and Toh “Xy-” Wai Hong joined forces during the Fall Major registration period to compete in SEA as Team Faceless. Four of the players have had participation at The Internationals – iceiceice attended The International 2011 with Scythe Gaming, taking third place, sixth place at TI3, fourth at TI4 and TI5; Black^ competed at TI2 and TI3; NutZ in TI5 and Xy TI1, TI2, TI3.
Dota Pit League Season 5
This season only two teams have been directly invited instead of four as in Season 4. China will be able to participate with their own qualifier sending a representative from the region and CIS will have their own qualifier to send a team from.
Six teams will qualify from the groups in each of the regions, joining the two directly invited teams – Wings Gaming and Digital Chaos to compete in the The Dota Pit League Season 5 LAN event scheduled to take place January 19-22nd.
The eight teams will compete for the $125,000 base prize pool that can be increased through in-game ticket sales on sale for $1.99 HERE and sets available soon.

- NA – 1 group – Complexity, Team NP, Evil Geniuses, Team Freedom
- Double Elimination Group Stage format
- Beginning October 15
- One winner from each group will advance to the LAN
