Lower Brackets
Hell Raisers plowed their way through both Virtus.Pro and then Team Empire to land in the grand finals and face Na’Vi. The team came into the series as the underdog, yet has managed to best their CIS counterparts and compete for the chance to represent their region at the Californian playoffs.
Grand Finals
Hell Raisers’ long road to the grand finals started after falling to the Lower Brackets in the first round, after only 31 minutes. Next facing Virtus.Pro, who has been showing considerable strength and qualified for various LAN events, Hell Raisers entered the match with strong conviction, maintaining control the entire game. Eliminating their first opponents, Hell Raisers went on to seek revenge against Team Empire and redeem themselves. After another 31-minute game versus Team Empire, it was the recent MLG Champions who would call GG, giving way for Hell Raisers’ grand finals opportunity. Although they dropped the first round to Na’Vi, Hell Raisers impressed everyone and fought hard the next two games, eventually taking the victory.
