ProDotA will be hosting the ProDotA Global Grand Master tournament starting in July. Eight teams – Team Liquid, Alliance, Na’Vi, Vega and four qualified teams will compete for the $50,000 prize pool in the first ProDotA top tier event. The competition will kick off on July 15 with closed qualifiers.
After six seasons of the ProDota Cup for Europe and North America, ProDotA is now organizing their first top tier event – Global Grand Master featuring Tier 1 teams and $50,000 prize pool.
Eight teams will compete in a double elimination playoff bracket from July 3-10th. Four teams have been directly invited – Team Liquid, Alliance, Na’Vi and Vega Squadron.
The invited teams will be joined by four other qualified teams. The closed qualifiers will kick off on June 15th with eight teams competing for one of four slots in the main event.
The qualifiers and main event will be MoonDuckTV and in Russian by UCC.

ProDota Cup
ProDota Cup is currently in the fifth season for the North American Region and sixth season for Europe. Previous seasons have been ongoing monthly with success and Samuel “sammy” Manuelson has told Dotablast that the monthly series is expected to be ongoing until at least December 2017.
Team Freedom seized ProDota Cup Americas 4 title when they bested Shazam 3:1 in the Grand Finals. Rebels edged out Team Spirit 3:2 to grab the ProDota Cup Europe 5 title last season.
