ProDota Gaming claimed their second consecutive PD Cup title. Their victory over Kaipi in the intense five game series gave them their second championship in a row for the series events.
ProDota was dropped to the lower brackets by YeS in the first round but then found their groove and dominated the lower brackets wiping through their opponents to rise into the Grand Finals.
Kaipi had a flawless run in the upper brackets, not dropping a single match as they advanced into the Grand Finals.
Armed with a one game advantage from the upper brackets, Kaipi took the first game from ProDota. In a remarkable comeback in game 2, ProDota claimed the victory and rode through on the momentum to seize the next two matches after as well.
The European mix had defeated Elements Pro Gaming 3:1 merely weeks ago at the end of July for PDCup 8.
ProDota has been on a winning streak lately, waiting to play in the Grand Finals of the JD League Division 1, in the lower brackets of D2 offence and the upper bracket semi finals for Elements Pro Cup – all of which are expected to be completed over the next two weeks.
The squad, captained by Ylli “Garter” Ramadani has been playing with Alexandru “ComeWithMe” Craciunescu and Jure “Pingvincek” Plešej for the last several weeks.
Teams have until September 4th to release players from their current rosters in preparation for the upcoming season. New players can then be added between September 4th-18th. The rosters will become locked on September 18th, at 12:00AM PDT.

ProDota Gaming
ProDota Gaming has participated in the monthly competitions since the beginning. They seized their first championship title in PD Cup 3, followed by a second place finish in PD Cup 4.
At the end of June, just in time for the TI6 open qualifiers ProDota Gaming underwent a full overhaul of their roster to be centered around carry player Ylli “Garter” Ramadani. The newly formed lineup went on to advance into the last few rounds in both qualifiers – most notably giving Team Secret a run for their money and “heartattack inducing” match.
Since then, the team parted ways with Andreas “MaGoma” Ramljak and with Ivan “Mastermind” Petkov who is receiving treatment for an arm injury.
Alexandru “ComeWithMe” Craciunescu and Jure “Pingvincek” Plešej stepped in for the squad several weeks ago and have enjoyed considerable success since. The team is currently on an at least an 11 game recorded winning streak*.
The organization has recently branched off of their original CIS project and switched gears into being a European extension. Since transitioning into a full European team, ProDota Gaming has been climbing their way back to success.
