A new esports arena in Bangkok has opened at Pantip Plaza, Pratunam. Ferret Card, Speed Computer and Intel Corporation are partners in the new project which is reported to be the first of its kind in South East Asia. Using the latest technology, the aim is to attract players from all over the Thai capital.
In a release last month, Ferret Card – a reward and loyalty program company- has revealed that together with Speed Computer and Intel Corporation, they have launched a new new esports arena at the Pantip Plaza, Pratunam in Bangkok Thailand.
The facility is boasted to be the first in SEA of its kind and cost 20 million Baht (approximately $572,485).
The arena is 600 square meters and located at the ground floor of the plaza. It features the latest technology, making it a haven for gamers across Bangkok.

Pantip Plaza, Pratunam is one of five plazas in the country under the Patnip Plaza umbrella and is known commonly as “The Computer City”. It is the go to location for consumers looking to purchase all IT related products.
Speed Computer is one of the country’s largest computer and products retail chains with one location already situated in Pantip Plaza, Pratunam.
Intel Corporation (Intel) is a multinational technology company based out of the United States, known to be one of the world’s largest and most successful semiconductor chip makers.
