Natus Vincere have bid farewell to three of their players – Dmitry “Ditya Ra” Minenkov, Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev and Ivan “ArtStyle” Antonov.
According to the announcement, the new Na’Vi team will be built around Danil “Dendi” Ishutin and Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini.
One week after the end of The Boston Major qualifiers, eSports club Natus Vincere G2A is ready to announce the names of the players who will stay in the roster: Danil “Dendi” Ishutin and Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini. These two players will become the basis for our new team. We take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the former Natus Vincere players: Dmitry “Ditya Ra” Minenkov, Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev and Ivan “ArtStyle” Antonov for their great contribution to the development of our organization and wish them good luck in their career.
After finalizing their roster in February, 2016, with the addition of Viktor “GeneRaL” Nigrini, Na’Vi began to surge forward with positive results.
The Ukrainian team went on to gain some commendable results and managed to secure their first championship title in two years at SLTV iLeague StarSeries, after besting Team Secret, 3:1, on July 25, 2016.
Despite a 13th-16th place finish at The International 6, the organization decided to give the Dota 2 team another chance and keep the roster intact. Last month, Na’Vi hobbled through the Boston Major qualifiers and ultimately failed to secure a spot at the upcoming Dota 2 Major.
Na’Vi roster:
Danil “Dendi” Ishutin
Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev
Dmitry “Ditya Ra” Minenkov
Ivan “Artstyle” Antonov
Viktor “GeneRaL” Nigrini
